Sulphuric acid as a highly corrosive, dense, oily liquid, H2SO4, and colourless require special handling and as Hibo we have taken measures to ensure utmost safety for our workers and the client is maintained. Our policy of “if not safe don’t do it” applies in all our operations and therefore provision of state of the art Personal Protective Equipment is of paramount importance and no employee or member of the community is allowed to be in the vicinity of the product whilst in transit or stored without being adequately protected.  Hibo General Dealers further provide trucks that are properly labelled and specifically designed safety features to handle dangerous substances. Our sulphuric acid tankers are specially made with non-corrosive materials and fitted with emergency compartments that contain first aid box, fire extinguishers, water and lime. Our well trained and competent drivers and workshop personnel adhere to these standards with no compromise. In case of spillage, it is our policy to barricade the area as we engage statutory bodies and other experts to clean the affected area.

The use of alcohol or non – prescription drugs while working by any employee or sub – contractor will not be tolerated. will not allow any employee to report for work in such a condition that the employee is unable to perform his/her duties properly and safely. An individual who attempts to function while under the influence of drugs or alcohol risks their own safety and the safety of others.

We will continue to promote, develop and implement waste prevention, reduction in a cost effective manner. We will use appropriately regulatedContractors to Waste Management: ensure safe management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste sent off-site in accordance with best environmental practice.

We ensure that All trucks and company vehicles have appropriate seat belts and in good working condition before they are driven out of the company premises. All drivers are instructed to respect and adhere to clients’ allowed speed limit. Our drivers are always sensitized to adhere to this policy. All vehicle users within and outside the garage are to use seatbelts without fail. Any omissions of the above shall attract a punishment
